Introduction
Sometimes things don't work out they way we hoped. If you encounter an issue with the Will Aid portal, here are some things you can do to solve what you are experiencing. In most cases, the solution is simple and has to do with good internet browser maintenance.

Reload the page
This can help when things are behaving in unexpected ways. Generally, the same button combination works for all browsers:
Windows users: Press Ctrl + R or F5
Mac users: Press Command + R
Clear Browser Cache
The universal problem solver. The processes are a bit different on different browsers, but always remember to log out of the portal before clearing cache. Also, always make sure that you do not accidentally clear important things like saved passwords and accounts.
Google Chrome:
- Click More (the three dots in the top right of the browser).
- Click More tools and then Clear browsing data.
- At the top, choose a time range. To delete everything, select All time.
- Tick the boxes next to 'Cookies and other site data' and 'Cached images and files'. Make sure no other boxes are ticked!
- Click Clear data.
Mozilla Firefox
- In the Menu bar at the top of the screen, click Firefox and select Preferences.
- Select the Privacy & Security panel.
- In the Cookies and Site Data section, click Clear Data.
- Untick the box in front of Cookies and Site Data.
- With Cached Web Content tick box checked, click the Clear button.
Microsoft Edge
- Select Menu (3 dots in the top right of the browser)
- Click Settings and then Privacy & services.
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear.
- Select 'Cached images and files' and 'Cookies and other site data' tick box and then click Clear.
Safari
- Click on the Safari drop-down menu and select Preferences.
- Click the Advanced tab. Select the Show Develop menu in menu bar checkbox and close the Preferences window.
- Select the Develop drop-down menu. Click Empty Cache.
